Many readers of From Ayaan's Ink Blog are in Dallas, and many of you are in the city of Coppell, a city in Dallas county. If you have kids, they probably go to Coppell Independent School District, or CISD for short. Well, CISD had a magazine, called "Our Story" and they have students around the district which they recognize in it. In the Spring 2020 edition, I got my very own article in it. It talks about Change, and how I won the Betty Award. You can read it too. If you are in a CISD school, you can get a physical copy, or you can use this link to access an online version, and then flip to page 15. Also, you can just see the screenshot below. I was very excited about this :)

Secondly, I just want to tell you about 2 books I have published. The first is a book called The Good and Bad of Change and is the sequel to the Betty Award book, Change. In the two books, Ahmed, an eleven-year-old boy leaves Syria after a violent protest. They come to the United States, which is what the book mainly focuses on. The second book is called The Envelope. In the story, there is an eleven-year-old boy named Luke who likes creating inventions, but when he gets a letter threatening him to give away his best invention, he decides to make a fake version. But when he sends the invention, he finds out he had been betrayed, and everything spirals out of control. The Good and Bad of Change is a longer story since there are a lot of elements in the story, but The Envelope is a short story, less than 10,000 words. It is very interesting, and my personal favorite. Both of these books are very enjoyable and I recommend you read them.
Thanks for taking the time for reading this post!
